Meal Plan FAQ
All you need to know about our meal plans and what's on campus.
Students can easily stay up to date with their balance by using the GET mobile or Grubhub mobile app. There are also spending guides listed on the Denison Hospitality Instagram and website each semester to help students keep track of their flex. Stay tuned for the Fall 2026 guide this August!

First-Year and Sophomore/Junior meal plans include a weekly allocation of meal exchanges, which may be used on a variety of combo meals at Slayter Market, Slivy’s, The Nest, and DFuse. If they prefer, students also have the flexibility to use meal exchanges at The Tables at Curtis and Huffman. Unused meal exchanges do not roll over and expire every Sunday morning.
Unused flex dollars and Big Red Bucks from the Fall semester will roll to the student’s Spring semester meal plan, but are forfeited at the end of the academic year. Students without a Spring semester meal plan will forfeit unused flex dollars and Big Red Bucks at the end of the Fall semester.
Information about Denison Dollars is available from Student Accounts here.
Meal swipes will reset at the beginning of each week, every Sunday morning.
Students can add flex dollars to their ID that can be used at all on-campus dining locations and off-campus partners that accept Big Red Bucks.
Denison Hospitality uses Grubhub to bring our students, faculty, and staff a convenient way to place pickup orders at participating locations. Signing up for Grubhub is simple and allows students to link their meal plan. Guests can also use the mobile kiosks outside of Slayter Market.
